I usually work 7:30 to 11 am on Tuesdays, Yesterday Kay asked if I could work 11 - 4 instead today so I did. I gotta tell ya when you get up at 5:00 am you sure have a long day but about this time of night I am so ready for bed. Anyways, I got Andy to work then had time lots of it before I had to be in at 11

I stopped by the bank and then dropped my coat off to have the zipper replaced - I am not a huge fan of the parking meters if that's what you want to call them downtown, so I drove around till I found a real parking meter and walked a block sheesh! Anyways got my coat dropped off so I can have a working zipper in it

The day was really slow, Cindy and I laughed a lot which was fun, and got a good recipe off Rachel Ray's show. . . I did a membership it's about time I learned how to do that! I have done various parts of it on the computer before, I think I know what to do . . . one of these days it won't make me say you need to talk to Cindy

Came home from work really hungry so I fixed some chili-getti as I was eating I got a text from Matt telling me about Asa's basketball game and that Colton will be having games on Friday nights how fun will that be!?!

Ready for bed now Andy is off tomorrow so I can sleep in till 6 yipee!

It was a busy day being Veteran's Day and The Smith 2 year anniversary Andy had to be in to work at 6 so this girl has been up a very long time and I am fading fast. Heading to bed to do it all again tomorrow.

My Boss asked me if I could work tomorrow from 11 - 4 don't know why but I will more than likely find out when I get there. If only I didn't have to drive all the way to the other side of the planet before the stop lights quit blinking. Oh well, this will not last forever . . .

Bible Study was cancelled tonight after 8:15 because our teacher hit a dear and his car went in the ditch on the way here from Dubuque. We got to chat with some of our class mates and had some great snacks and left earlier than usual. I got home to a message from Hannah asking why I had been in jail She also told me that they won their game tonight by 1 point. I told her I was glad I missed it I am not sure this old heart could take another close game!

Colton and I had a fun day. He sure is a great kid. He loves to draw, and draw he did about 25 pictures. I told him he is quite an artist, he would smile and say yeah, I am I enjoyed him today. How can he possibly be 4 years old?

Ok enough of this I need to go to bed!

got to sleep in a little today and boy did this old gal need that. Got up and had a really nice quiet time then started some laundry then got ready to go to Hannah's game. I decided I was going to skip church to watch the girls play for the championship and I am so glad I did - even though I had to miss Jeff Smolik give the message at Valley View. I am hoping I can listen to it online.

What an exciting game! The girls they played beat our girls last year so it was nice to be able to win against them today! The girls played really well I am so proud of those young ladies! And of Michael and JoAnna and of me and Tami (? one of the mom's) for not getting kicked out of the game for yelling!

Came home and watched the movie Billy Graham The Early Years - it was really good then got ready to go to the Y Staff Rally! It was fun seeing Sheila get so much recognition today not only for her photographs but for being such a good member encourager and she won an exercise monitor I am not sure what it's called but it's cool and I am glad she won. Ashleigh won a $25 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods It was a good rally and it's funny how many people I know from working there now as opposed to last year right after I just started.

Waiting now for time to pass to drive with Andy into work so he can taste test some new items they will be adding to the menu Lucky Duck! then back home to bed he works tomorrow at 6 then I get Colton for the day hooray!!!!!

What a beautiful day! I said that several times to Andy as we drove to work this morning! He got to work, I drove on to the Y and man oh man what a morning we had! I worked with Gayle and it was fun chatting and getting to know her a little better, as well as with Ray, it's nice to hear their point of view about things. We were super busy!!! Basketball games till noon, swimming lessons, raquetball challenges there were so many people at the Y today. I had to park on the street glad I didn't have to pay! The parking lots were full till I got off at noon. Whew

I drove out to Hannah's game and watched them win their second game today. Sad to have missed the first one but happy to see them win! What a game! JoAnna was walking a few inches off the ground after that game she was so proud of her Jr Warriors

I got home and was determined to just veg and chill and every other word I can think of that means do nothing but instead realized I had a little over an hour before Andy was off work so went and helped some friends and got some exercise at the same time

Picked up Andy, it' fun riding home with him because he is really talkative that's been fun! Came home and took a shower then got on my computer to put some new music on my Kindle - it only took me 2 1/2 hours!!!!!! sheesh!

Well, it's time for bed think I will go and read for a while.

so I had a long day ha! as if you didn't get that from the title. I got up at 4:50 had to be to work by 7 Andy had to be to work by 6 so yeah, when I can go to bed, here I sit (but not for long!)

came home at lunch to a cold house thermostat was acting very weird but I got it straightened out so we have heat again - it was frustrating I tell ya!

worked with Sheila this afternoon that was fun plus I got to see Ash and Robbyn! I got to see all of my girls today BONUS! I needed that after the frustrating time at lunch!

Michael looked at the sunfire and said he didn't see any leaks so we can drive it yay! it's way better on gas than my Tahoe! Nice to catch up with JoAnna tonight

I think I have hit my limit / wall / whatever this girl is headed to bed

It's been so nice to see the sun today Praise God it's been wonderful. Sheila and I went for a walk this morning it was chilly but I was dressed for it and knew we would be fine once we got going. We walked the trail and it was so beautiful but I had to keep reminding myself to not look down constantly but to look up and look around. Good lesson for life, don't you think? We walked for a mile and a half then turned around and went back her hip was bothering her and I had to go to the bathroom really badly (next time I won't drink so much coffee ahead of time!)

I came back home and did my dishes and watered my plants, Thursday is plant watering day so got that done then finished a letter to my folks and got that in the mail then called Liz to see if indeed she was coming for lunch if so I was thinking of making potato soup, she was and said that sounded great so I got that ready and waited for her to come and eat.

It was great catching up with her since I hadn't seen her since Monday. Soon it will be time to go get Andy so he can drive home. I need to put the garbage and the recycle up and refill the recycle at least somewhat and get the junk out of the house.

It's been kinda nice having a day off but thankful for my job and the people I work with.

More than that I am thankful for Jesus pulling me out of the miry clay and setting my feet on the solid Rock that He is! Thank you Lord!!!!

what a night after a day wow that's profound! I got up this morning at 4:50 when I got in the kitchen I heard the coffee pot turn on hooray! I wanted to make sure I had enough time for my quiet time before the day got started.

Andy and I were out the door at 5:35 on the way back home I stopped for gas it was $2.95 knowing I wouldn't have time later. Came on home did up my dishes and finished up some things before I headed into work. When my shift was over I cashed out my drawer and headed to Swisher to Kava house for lunch with my dear dear friends. We had a really great lunch, good place to eat if you ever get a chance to go out there! We sat around and talked, laughed and tried not to complain about things that bug us we weren't very successful.

When I left there it was 1:30 - Andy was off work at 2 and I had brought my Kindle because I knew I was going to wait in the parking lot for him. Soon he was in the truck and we were headed home - finally!

About 3:50 the Stevens' kids came. Isaac said he was starving because he had just had gym. Jillian said she was hungry too so I asked them if they wanted some hot chocolate and toast. Jillian ate 6/7 pieces of toast! and 2 cups of hot chocolate.

At 5 we got ready and went to Hannah's game. What a nail biter! the Warrior's won by 1 point whew! It was a great game, very low scoring and the other team just wouldn't give up. None of the girls on either team seems 'on their game' tonight but we won and that was good.

I dropped the Stevens kids at home and talked with Sheila for a few minutes. Came on home and changed into my pajamas and was getting in the fridge to get some dinner, when I remembered I hadn't voted UGH (in Eeeps voice from the Croods!) I stood with the refrigerator door open trying to decide what to do, just stay in my pj's and eat or go vote. I decided I would be mad at myself if I didn't go vote so I got dressed again and went and voted. whew

Came home and finally ate some dinner now trying to decide if I want to go to bed early and I am thinking YES!

Andy works at 8 in the morning - - nice!

Andy has to be to work at 6 - that means we have to leave here at 5:30 so this gal is heading to bed! I will be so glad he will have his licence soon

It was nice to get up this morning and see some daylight but it's dark so early in the evening, heading to bed soon.

Got a text from Matt early saying his jeep would not start hissboo, never a good way to begin a day. Finally he and the boys rode their bikes to get some gas, Hawkeye was closed till 7 it was 6:48 so they had to ride to Road Ranger but the jeep started then.

They boys were really good during church, they really like Sunday School which is great! I am so glad they enjoy it. Like I said they were really good during church. Asa sat by Isaac and Colton sat by me, he ended up falling asleep.

They boys wanted to watch The Croods so they did and when it was over I sent them outside to play. I was shocked at how much the temperature had dropped and the wind picked up. They had a great time but soon their dad was here and home they went.

I think I will go to bed and read, working for Amy tomorrow she has a field trip, then she will work for me on Thursday that will be different. I will work with Kim tomorrow instead of Thursday, we always have a good time with the kids.

Gracin said to me the other day (he is 4) I saw a train! It was chugga chuggin! Gotta love little kids
